December is half over!

Can you believe it? The good thing is I'm 97% ready for Christmas. And that's a very good thing considering how busy we've been. There is a lot happening in the Donaldson house these days!
Last weekend I hosted a baby shower for my dear friend and her precious baby girl.

This week we hosted a Kids' Christmas Party for our playgroup (much more on that later!). In between all that we've been out Christmas shopping, getting our tree put up, church with Grandparents, sewing projects for Christmas gifts (more on this soon too!) and all our normal things like school lessons, Bible study groups and Tastefully Simple.

Pillowcases for the boys-so excited that they actually fit pillows!!!

Wylie is cruising thru his reading lessons and we've started reading early level books!
We're also working on a unit study of our state. There's lots to be learned there so we'll be focusing on that for a couple weeks.

Tonight we are having our Bible Study groups over for a Christmas Party! I'm cooking up some yummy appetizers, bacon wrapped smokies and stuffed mushrooms, to enjoy. Recipes to follow!
